I'm _almost_ important

So I got this "priority message" in the mail today. Of course, those punks didn't even bother to spell my last name right.

I opened it up, and it's a message from "All Points Wireless" in Morris Plains, NJ, trying to get me to call their 1-800 number so they can send me my FREE AT&T Wireless phone. Of course, anyone who's known me a while and who keeps up with current events would notice two things pretty quickly:

1. AT&T is now Cingular Wireless, and if Cingular were the last cell phone company on earth I would go without.

2. I'm locked into a two-year contract with Verizon, and that contract won't be up until November, 2006.

At least with Verizon, what I expect the bill to be and what the bill really is are pretty close to the same amount.

I received the same junk mail, except that mine said that it was for Cingular. The ironic thing, is I researched it and there is no such company in New Jersey.

This is actually a bill collector, attempting to find someone.

I received the same thing as well, saying it was from Cingular. Ordinarily I would just trash junk mail before opening it, but figured I'd try to do some research and see if it was a scam or what-not.
